3. i’ve tried e ery type of leveling system for my travel trailer, and the best i’ve found is good-old FASTEN leveling blocks and chocks. It’s the only solution that can do any leveling job. I found those curved self-levelers are limited because they only lift about 3 inches (they say 4 but only if you go right up to the edge and risk falling off) I tried the chock that snaps into a leveling block, but it requires you build a pyramid, and these are aso limited to about 4 blocks high, and fall apart on soft ground, and take a lot of blocks. With just a plain stack of blocks, i can maneuver up onto 6 blocks, and I put chocks on the shorter of the 2 stacks of blocks (dual axle trailer). I have newer blocks (I use for lightweight stabilizers) and I keep the older mangled blocks for levelilng heavy wheels. I also put a rubber pad underneath the Fasten blocks that support the wheels, so the block doesn’t get damaged by gravel and rocks. Overall, my system works very well, but eventually, blocks get damaged, and I need to buy a new stack of 10 every few years, and cycle out the old damaged ones.

5. Based on hundreds of nights of RV camping, I can say this is way, way more complicated than necessary. My level checks are a a couple of cheap, glue on levels at the back corner of my RV. My leveling devices are 2″ thick wood blocks that I cut bevels on. I have used these without issue or breakage for years. If needed I can stack them 3 high, raising the RV almost 6″. Typically I can look at the ground and judge where and how many blocks to use. Perfection is not necessary and I rarely need to make a second try.
